Tyler Haskell Obituary

 

Tyler Haskell, 20, of Bakersfield, passed away October 16, 2014 as a result of the negative effects with teenage onset Type I Diabetes. He was born September 8, 1994 in Tarzana, to Joe and Rachel Haskell.  Tyler graduated from West High School, where he had been devoted to their Choir family.  He began studies at Bakersfield College planning to major in mathematics and mechanics ultimately becoming a Veterinarian.  Tyler was interested in games, music, anime, people, and he loved animals; he wanted to raise wolves.

Tyler is survived by his parents Joe and Rachel and his sister Amber; along with his paternal grandparents, Renee Arnette, James and Patricia Rodgers, and Roy and Beverly Woodward.  He is also survived by his fiancée Michelle Parish along with extended family members and many close friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bakersfield Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held on Monday, October 27, 11:00 a.m. at New Life Center, located at 4201 New Stine Road at White Lane.  The family asks that any donations be made in person, through venmo.com, through PayPal options with your bank account (*note: PayPal is rejecting some donations.)
