PFC Timothy Louis Legget Jr., 25, was born on March 30, 1990 in San Francisco, CA. at San Francisco general Hospital to Timothy Louis Legget Sr. and Sharown Lynette Christensen. Timothy Louis Legget Jr. passed away peacefully in Bakersfield, CA. at his Step-father's home on February 4, 2016. Tim was a graduate of Highland High School in Bakersfield, CA, where as a valued football player, his teammates named home "Crazy Legs Legget."
After a year out of High School, Tim made a decision to join the United States Army where he served 4 years, 8 months in service as a Paratrooper. Tim was a Veteran of 82nd Airborne of Afganistan, 2012. He also earned the following acknowledgements: Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/2 campaign Stars, Army Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon NATO Medal, and a Parachutist Badge.
In Tim's extracurricular life, he became a member of "Tru Legendz" Motorcycle Club in North Carolina, where he went by "Lil Bro," until he later renamed himself, "Smoove." Tim was vested on Nov.1, 2014. While a member, he was appointed the Road Captain, always leading the group. While in Tru Legendz, he assisted with donations for toys, Christmas 2014 and charity rides for a kidney transplant fundraiser.
He is survived by his daughter Skye Elaine-Lynette Legget, maternal great grandmother; Alice (Guichard) Harrell, mother Sharown (Christensen) Summers, Step-fathers, Christopher Summers and Reggie Tisdell; four sisters, Shantike Legget, Keiyonia Barrett, Haleigh Tisdell and Jordan Summers, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
He is preceded by his father Timothy Louis Legget Sr., paternal grandmother Virginia Spruel; Maternal grandmother, Gaitrice (Harrell) Christensen, maternal grandfather, Carl John Christensen.
