Ruben Arthur Guzman - age: 76

Obituary:
Ruben A. Guzman passed away at the age of 76 in Bakersfueld.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m. at Chuck Cordell's new building, 643 N. China Lake Blvd. Pastor Larry Parcher will officiate.
Ruben was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Westmoreland, Calif. He married Bonnie on April 26, 1971, in Stockton, Calif. They had 11 children. He saw his family as his greatest achievement.
Ruben was a Ridgecrest resident for many years. Before that, he lived in Reno, Nev.
His career was primarily in agriculture, and he worked for the Ridgecrest Parks and Recreation Department prior to his retirement. He enjoyed gardening as a hobby.
"Ruben was a hard worker and loved his family tremendously," said his daughter, Elena.
Ruben is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie Guzman; 11 children, 36 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The family would like to give a special "Thank you" to the nurses and staff at the Davita Dialysis Clinic for taking such good care of our father. Dad, you will be missed, and we love you with all our hearts.
