John (Jack) David Towe Sr., born 10-24-30, went home to be with the Lord on 7-1-16. He was a hard-working man, jack-of-all trades, talked to and loved everyone he met, great provider, and hopelessly in love with his surviving wife of 65 years, Carolyn. He is also survived by his children, Cathy Curry (Bob), Stevie Towe (Tonia), Patti Ellison (Tom), and numerous grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John (Davey) David Towe Jr., and Karen Ballard. A private reception will be held for the family.
Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can go no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
