Gary Edward Culbertson

Gary Culbertson was born May 20, 1949 in Coalinga, CA. His mother, Maxine, moved Gary and his brother, Billy, to Bakersfield when he was a litle boy and he remained here all of his life. He leaves behind his wife, Karen, of 32 years and 3 children, Robby, Richie, and Kari. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Alex and Heather that he adored. His two horses, Beta and Hayley, along with his two doggies will really miss him. Gary worked 35 years for Millwood Cabinet Co. as a custom cabinet maker. He was always a very hardworker who took pride in his craft. But he was forced to retire early at age 55 due to serious health conditions and was placed on permanent disability. Gary truly loved to fish and hunted when he was younger. Even despite the stuff he had to endure, he still continued to go fishing as much as he could. Gary also loved to go camping with his family and he liked watching movies. And barbecuing with his family was something he really enjoyed. Gary was a very kindand gentle and easy going man who could talk with and get along with anybody. He was always ready to help anybody that needed any help. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will truly miss him. His family is broken hearted, but they know he would want them to continue working hard everyday just as he always did. We love you Gary more than anybody could ever imagine. Rest in peace sweetheart until we are all together again.
