Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

My condolences to Klarke's Family and Friends.
I was close friends with Klarke for over 10 years and was sorry to see him move to Bakersfield around 2004. When I lived in Bakersfield, Klarke visited me and apparently liked what he saw in opportunities.
I often visted Klarke when he lived in Santa Barbara and was always a kind, caring and generous person. I am glad to have known him.

My dearest friend Klarke, it's been 4 months since you left me. You know I get mad when you didn't say goodbye to me at night, and you didn't say goodbye again this time. I miss you so much. Not a day goes by I do not shed a tear for you. You were one of my best friends, my "work husband", and my "dad", all rolled into one. There will never be another like you. Your giving heart, your smile, your humor, and most importantly your kindness will never be forgotten. I love you more than words. Thank you for the years of friendship. I will carry you always in my heart. Love you, Mel
